What Causes the Loss of Trees?
The loss of trees is caused by us cutting them down. The reason we do this is to gather the resources that trees give us such as paper, firewood and building materials.
How does the Loss of Trees Affect Us?
First of all trees absorb and produce oxygen from the stuff we breathe out, carbon dioxide. This means that there's not too much carbon dioxide to heat up our world to much. But when we cut the trees down the amount of carbon dioxide that is absorbed is decreased, resulting in hotter temperatures and the sea level rising.
